The Fly brothers are minor antagonists in A Bug's Life.
Role in the film[]
They were first seen sitting in the audience at P.T. Flea's Circus, and heckling the performance. The Fly Brothers mistakenly flirt with Francis, believing him to be a girl. Annoyed by this, Francis angrily picks a fight with them. The Fly Brothers, along with the rest of the flies, enjoy P.T.'s act,especially when it goes completely wrong, and P.T. is set alight. The Flies later find Francis looking for payback. They bring a giant horsefly named Thud. Francis angrily tried to get rid of them by playing as Robin Hood but the Circus Bugs don't fall for it as Thud scares the bugs including Dim. Dim's weight cause the barrel to roll which caused the Fly Brother to be defeated.
